Conquer Life's Battles with Faith*

Don't let life's challenges defeat you. Equip yourself with God's armor and conquer every obstacle! To emerge victorious in life's battles, we must be equipped with God's armor, as Ephesians 6:13 reminds us to "put on every piece of God's armor" to resist the enemy's attacks and stand firm. This means wearing our spiritual armor at all times, including the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shoes of peace, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. As we pursue God's path, we must undergo a transformation, renewing our minds with God's Word, seeking His guidance and wisdom, and trusting in His sovereignty and goodness, rather than conforming to the world's patterns or leaning on our own understanding. By equipping ourselves with God's armor and pursuing a life of transformation, obedience, and surrender, we can face life's battles with faith and courage, knowing that God is our strength, shield, and defender. So, are you ready to face life's battles with faith and courage, equipped with God's armor and guided by His Word, emerging victorious in every battle and reflecting the glory of God?

Prayer is Ultimate Way to Solve All Problems

I feel great comfort when I read the gospels and notice that Jesus faced the same dilemma as us when prayers seemed to be left unanswered. He spent all night praying before he chose the twelve disciples, and even so, one of them turned out to be a traitor. In Gethsemane, Jesus prayed Matt 26:39a "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me." Was the cup of suffering taken away from Jesus? Of course not. Jesus' prayers sometimes seemed unanswered, just like our prayers seem sometimes see to go unanswered. However, look at Jesus' prayer again in Matthew 26:39, but this time look at the second part of His prayer "Yet not as I will, but as you will." Wow! This is real trust! Jesus did not want His will to be done, but that God's will be done.
